Crestyl, a multi-sector developer, sought a way to connect the tenant community across its commercial buildings and offer benefits to their employees. The goal was to create a digital card that would function without an app, be fully personalizable, and enable direct communication with thousands of employees, currently based in the DOCK, Hagibor, NR7, and Savarin locations.
Community Card as Part of Brand Strategy
For Crestyl, the community card represents a unique competitive advantage in the development sector and a way to express its brand identity. Community development and support are key values for Crestyl. The digital card is one of the primary tools used to connect and communicate with locations, companies, and individuals. Crestyl collects only the data necessary for meaningful communication. Nothing more.
A Card with Plenty to Offer
The Places digital community card is available as a benefit to all Crestyl employees as well as employees of commercial space tenants across all locations. The card is personalised, allowing communication to be targeted precisely where it makes sense, including location-based notifications for individual buildings.
The graphic design of the card was handled by the agency MADLOVE, which oversees the developer's overall visual style. The graphics are therefore clean and simple. On the back of the card, community members will always find an up-to-date overview of events for the current month, followed by a summary of all benefits: from discounts at Planeo Elektro, Starbucks, and Popeyes to tickets for the Pod Palmovkou theatre.
Event Card for a Musical Summer
In addition to the community card, Crestyl uses PassMachine digital cards for one-off events. For instance, Savarin participated in the 'Prague Lives Music' festival, and a special non-personalised event card was created for the performers. This simple pass, valid on Friday and Saturday, entitled performers to use the facilities and enjoy refreshments directly on-site. It was a straightforward card issued specifically for performers, stored in Apple or Google Wallet.
Further musical productions are planned for the future, and Crestyl intends to use event cards throughout the summer season.
Why PassMachine
For Crestyl, the Czech origin of the solution was important during the selection process. Community support also starts with the choice of suppliers. The team's approach was also key: flexibility, speed, and a willingness to explain everything. Card administration is clear, notification planning works exactly as needed, and location-based notifications allow them to reach employees of a specific building at the right moment.

How Crestyl Uses the Card
- Personalisation: each community member has a card with their name, company, and assigned building. Each notification reaches the correct user.
- Notifications: location-based notifications (geofencing via GPS), personalized notifications with direct address, and mass messages for everyone.
- Segmentation: each communication is targeted to the correct users, always with a direct address.
- Card Back: events for the given period, a personalized message, and links to all benefits and important contacts for tenants.
- Registration: the program is voluntary; the community grows naturally.
What Practice Has Brought
The PassMachine community card has given Crestyl a simple and elegant tool to care for the community across all its commercial properties. Employees of the companies located there have benefits, events, and information readily available on their mobile phones, while Crestyl has gained a direct communication channel that truly reflects the brand's values.
